Family Care Solutions was founded on the belief that everyone deserves dignity and comfort during life’s most challenging moments.
As a business owner, mother, wife, and daughter, I understand how quickly life moves. Owning my own business gave me the flexibility to care for my aging mother-in-law when she came to live with us. Soon after, my father retired and needed daily support, so he began spending his days at my home while my mother worked. I remember thinking, “What do people do in situations like this?” I couldn’t imagine managing a traditional job and still meeting my family’s needs.
During that time, Family Care Solutions was born. When my father later suffered a fall and required around-the-clock care, I realized just how essential quality caregiving services are. Without organizations like Family Care Solutions, families like mine might face impossible choices—between their jobs and their loved ones’ well-being.
Even through the challenges of building a business, I remain deeply grateful for what Family Care Solutions has become. We exist to support individuals and families in their most vulnerable moments, guided by the belief that when we help others get what they need in life, we all thrive together.
Hi, I'm Nikki Garcia, Executive Director of Family Care Solutions. My passion for caregiving began long before this company ever existed. I was raised by my father and grandparents, and as they grew older, I watched their independence slowly shift into needing more help with daily tasks like cooking, bathing, and getting to appointments. When my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, our world changed. Even through his illness, we cherished every moment together — playing games like BINGO and Farkle, laughing, and staying connected as a family.
After losing my grandparents and now taking care of my father with Parkinson's, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others receive the kind of care and support they deserved — right at home, surrounded by love and familiarity. That experience inspired me to help create Family Care Solutions in 2022, a family-owned agency built on compassion, dignity, and quality of life.
Every client we serve reminds me why I started this journey — to make a difference for families like mine. You and your loved ones deserve "the right care, right at home."
